As lockdown finally eases and the summer approaches, we wanted to focus on all our services that support and impact young people.

We all know that the pandemic will have had a substantial impact on young people - on their social lives, their education and their mental health.

We also know that more, and different support will be needed ahead. As a group of charities we are focussed on supporting people to lead the life they want to and accessing the support they need to do so. Across Recovery Focus, we have services that support young people impacted by the harms caused by drug and alcohol misuse, domestic abuse, and mental ill health. By working together, we can safeguard young people facing issues from a variety of cause areas. This week we will be hearing from our partner organisations about how they support young people, how the pandemic has impacted that support, and hearing from young people themselves about their experiences using our services.

Make sure you are following Recovery Focus on Twitter, as well as our partners, Richmond FellowshipAquarius and DVIP. Also be sure to like the Richmond Fellowship and Aquarius Facebook pages. Follow along with the week on the hashtag #YoungPeoplesWeek to make sure you don’t miss any recovery stories, experiences of young people using our services or what our young people services have been up to this past year!
