We are pleased to announce that Richmond Fellowship has successfully been awarded 75th place in The National Centre for Diversity’s (NCFD) Top 100 Index.

The NCFD aims to advance fairness for all in the workplace by helping organisations embed Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) best practices into their day-to-day work. They work with organisations to positively influence their beliefs, attitudes, behaviours and conduct towards issues surrounding EDI and to transform the workplace environment to one which is equitable and inclusive for all.

Since 2016, Richmond Fellowship has also proudly held NCFD’s Investors in Diversity accreditation which provides an all-encompassing methodology for improving EDI practices in the workplace and has enabled us to take a structured and planned approach to ensure that EDI is at the heart of everything we do. The accreditation also provides us with an excellent framework to bring together all of our excellent work around EDI.

We are committed to being an organisation that creates opportunities for people no matter their background, and I would like to say thank you to all our staff and volunteers who demonstrate this very important commitment every day.” Tracey Bell

To be eligible for The NCFD’s Top 100 Index, we submitted the results of our last Investors in Diversity staff survey, which looked at how well we promote and embed the principles of EDI in our organisation, and how we challenge discrimination and harassment.

Tracey Bell, Group Director for Performance, Quality and Innovation, said: “This is a brilliant achievement for all of us at Richmond Fellowship. Having been awarded 81st place in NCFD’s Top 100 in 2017, our rise to 75th place this year is a clear reflection of our all-encompassing approach to EDI best practices across our organisation. As an organisation, we are passionate about tackling discrimination and pushing for equality in wider society, and this was a great opportunity for us to work with the NCFD to achieve this exciting result.

“We will be soon embarking on our Investors in Diversity reaccreditation journey this April, so please make sure you all complete the survey to ensure we receive the best outcome possible. We are committed to being an organisation that creates opportunities for people no matter their background, and I would like to say thank you to all our staff and volunteers who demonstrate this very important commitment every day.”
